R. Kelly's Denies All Sex Abuse Allegations In 1st Interview Since Arrest

New York, NY – CBS This Morning has simply introduced an in-depth interview with R. Kelly will air on Wednesday (March 6).

In a tweet from CBS Evening News, the information outlet confirmed the disgraced R&B star lately sat down with Gayle King for his first interview since his arrest final month. Unsurprisingly, a tearful Kelly denies all sexual abuse allegations.

“I sit right here and say this, I had two instances again then that I stated to start with of the interview that I cannot discuss due to my ongoing case now,” he says within the first clip. “People are going again to my previous and making an attempt so as to add all of these things now to that. To make all of these things that’s happening now feels actual to folks.”

When King suggests his previous is related, Kelly shortly replies with, “Absolutely no it’s not. For one, I beat my case. It’s not truthful to no person. When you beat your case, you beat your case.”

Throughout the 2 clips, he continues to disclaim having intercourse with underage women regardless of his current 10-count indictment.

“Not true,” he says. “Old rumors, new rumors, future rumors. Not true.”

In the second clip, Kelly is noticeably extra agitated and emotional.

“I don’t must [hold girls against their will],” he says. “Why would I? How silly would that be for R. Kelly, with all I’ve been by in my approach, well beyond, to carry anyone … how silly would I be to try this? That’s silly guys. That’s silly. Use your frequent sense. Forget the blogs. Forgot how you are feeling about me.

“Hate me if you wish to. Love me if you wish to. Just use your frequent sense. How silly would it not be for me with my loopy previous and what I’ve been although? Oh, proper now I simply suppose I should be a monster and maintain women towards their will, chain them up in my basement and don’t allow them to eat, don’t allow them to out except they want some footwear down the road from their uncle. Stop it. Y’all give up enjoying. I didn’t do that stuff. This will not be me. I’m preventing for my fucking life.”
