Chinx's Accused Killer Reportedly In Talks For Plea Deal
It’s been over three years since the untimely passing of Chinx. The Coke Boys rapper was shot and killed in Queens shortly after performing at a club. In December, police arrested two men in connection to the murder. However, one of the suspects in reportedly in talks of copping a plea deal.
According to the New York Post, one of the men who’s accused of murdering Chinx is speaking to prosecutors about copping a plea deal in the case. Jamar Hill made an appearance in a Queens court earlier today and prosecutor Brian Hughes said, “We are still working toward disposition.”
Hill and the other suspect, Quincy Homere, have been accused of shooting and killing Chinx in a drive-by shooting as well as injuring his friend, Antar Alziadi. The two men were already behind bars for different cases when they were arrested for Chinx’ death in September. At this point, both men are facing up to 25 years to life behind bars if they’re convicted for the murder of the Queens’ rapper.
Hill and Homere allegedly followed Chinx as he was driving around in his Porsche Panamera 4 after his performance at the Red Wold night club in Brooklyn. Chinx was shot 15 times while Alziadi suffered from two gun shots but survived.
Both Hill and Homere plead not guilty to second-degree murder charges during their first hearing with the judge earlier in 2018.
