Quavo Wins $10K Bet Against Drake After Hitting Half-Court Shot
Drake and Migos finally kicked off their highly anticipated “Aubrey and The Three Migos” tour after two unexpected postponements. A few days before the kick-off date, Drake shared a photo of himself and Quavo on the basketball court with the caption, “National Bando Association Pree Season started today…who will prevail?” It’s clear that during the down time, Migos and Drake will be going head-to-head on the court. Prior to the show time last night, Drake and Quavo placed a $10K bet on who could land a half court shot. Unfortunately, Drake may have underestimated Quavo’s skill on the court.
Quavo earned himself an easy $10K last night after he and Drake placed bets on who could score a half-court shot. Quavo shared a video on Instagram of the competition between himself and Drake. The video opens up with the words “Shooting For 10 Bandz” before Quavo takes his shot and makes it. Drake then follows up and hits the rim. Drizzy, being the good sport he is, graciously takes his L and high-fives Quavo for his impressive shot.
In a recent interview with Billboard, Quavo revealed the Migos vs. OVO basketball tournament was one thing he was really excited about on their tour.
“I’m looking forward to this basketball tournament we got going on the whole tour. It’s like a playoff game and a trophy made. It’s going to be really intense. Every day we’re going to work out and get to the athletics.” He said.
