After a long, 11-year wait, Swizz Beatz is finally dropping his sophomore album, Poison, sometime this summer. In order to make up for lost time, Swizz is bringing some the biggest names in hip-hop on board for his new project, and his projects in the future.

In an interview with Pitchfork, Swizz gives details about the features on Poison. It’s a stacked list, including names such as: Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Pusha T, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, 2 Chainz, The Lox, Giggs, Jim Jones, and more. Those are just the names that he could fit on the project’s 10 tracks, a number which he had to trim down from the over 70 songs he recorded.

There’s no concern about whether we might hear those tracks, however, as Swizz has plenty more in the pipeline once he’s finished with Poison. Swizz says that he has another four albums ready and waiting for the future, each with a very different theme. One is an R&B album, one is an “energy” album for getting pumped up, one is an “acoustics” album full Sunday vibes, and the last is a “global” album with international artists.

“All different concepts, all different messages, all different sounds,” Swizz said in the interview. “I’m not trying to put this out and then go on a hiatus. I’m trying to put this out and then before you know it, you’re seeing the intro to something else. I want this to be a continuation bodies work, so people are getting used to me being back in this ring and being unpredictable and ultra competitive.”

One song that didn’t make the cut for Poison was a track with Kanye West and Bono, but it was removed because the collaboration felt “too big.”
